Hi there! My name is Megan Dami, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been practicing in the field for the past 8 years as a counselor, but have been working in the field of mental health for well over the past decade in various settings. My practice, Seeking Peace Counseling, focuses on the individual and their own unique needs while working through and attempting to find peace through any life struggles or mental health issues that they are experiencing. By blending different theories and techniques (such as client-centered, CBT, Natural Lifemanship, and psychodynamic, to name just a few), my focus is to meet you where you at, and together help find ways to work through and overcome challenges in a healthy and supportive environment. I provide in-person and virtual sessions, as well as equine-assisted psychotherapy as another helpful modality for individuals with trauma and other mental health issues.
